I was taught a very basic rule. Knowing where to find
something in a hurry was just as important as how good it is,
to be honest there is very little difference between one
company and the next
The Drillers club is now recognised as a leading information
site worldwide. Most of the clubs members are professionals
from every sector of the industry. Their positions often
require that they suggest what will be in the yearly budget,
and they are the same people that make out and sign the
requisition forms that keep an operation going or up-grades
Back in 1986 to 1990 several rigs I was
working on were to be up graded, The office left the working
out to the rig Toolpushers. During the course of these years
over 9 million dollar worth of equipment was order and
purchased by the rig staff directly (most was order and
acquired from small outlets even though the contractor had
one of the largest oil supply companies in the industry). In
1993 up until 2000 I was involved it the building of 4 land
rigs all the equipment was ordered by the toolpusher.
Being seen and seen by the right people is
three quarters of the job done, advertising in a publication
is a one off affair as once the publication is read so it is
junked, Having your logo or banner there for everyone to see
every time they visit a site is more to the point, having
your logo on a site that is recognise around the world, by
people that count is the only way to go.
The Drillers Club is the most progressive and
aggressive drilling and workover web site on the internet, We
don't sell equipment we don't sell people jobs we don't even
ask companies to pay a fee when they ask us to find them
people, we give away Free information, and when something is
free everyone turns up. only a fool would pass up such
opportunity or miss the chance of being seen

Better still why nor take out a yearly advert in a group that would show the
world where you're hiding, To replace the logo at the top of this page or any
group header in the club would cost you £110 per year, it would be seen in over
100 oil related countries world wide and by every oil man that visited that
group
A half side banner would cost you £56 per year and with only 5 logo per headed
per group you would be one of the top 5 companies in your section of the
industry
